Asia Sourcing is a service from Norra Park AB, which is responsible for the processing of your data. Contact us at info@asiasourcing.se regarding privacy or to withdraw consent.

Calculator and meeting requests

The calculators run in your browser. Sharing links contain percentage assumptions, not purchase amounts. When you request a meeting, your name, company, work email, country and message are stored so that we can contact you. Calculator values are only attached if you actively choose to include them. Meeting requests may also generate a confirmation to you and a notification to our own mailbox via the configured email service.

Free product comparison

We store the details of one to three products: description, category, annual volume, unit, current net price and currency, technical requirements, any model reference, delivery market and comments. We also store contact details, an optional phone number, two separate consents, the request reference, status and time. The price information is used for our private analysis. No documents are uploaded here.

The request is access-protected and reviewed manually by us. Once it has been stored, a confirmation email is sent to you and a notification with contact and product details, including prices and technical requirements, is sent to our own mailbox via the email service. No automatic emails or requests for quotation are sent to factories. Consent to contact is needed to handle the request; the separate consent to limited sharing with factories is voluntary. Without it, we offer an initial conversation, not factory quotations. Consents can be withdrawn via the contact address above; processing already lawfully carried out is not affected retroactively.

Limited sharing and China

After your explicit consent and our manual review, only the anonymised product description, technical requirements and estimated annual volume with unit may be provided to selected Chinese manufacturers for requests for quotation. The preview shows these fields. Current price, company name, contact person, email, phone, model references and private comments are not included by default. We must also review free text and indirect identifiers: a technical detail can in some cases reveal who the customer is.

China is outside the EU/EEA and has no EU adequacy decision. If the material can still be linked to a natural person, sharing it constitutes a transfer to a third country. Before any such transfer, we must establish a valid mechanism under Chapter V of the GDPR, for example the EU standard contractual clauses where applicable, assess recipients and risks, and put in place any necessary supplementary safeguards. Your consent does not replace this work. Applicable safeguards and recipients are to be described, and you are to be able to request information about the safeguards before sharing. We do not make any such transfers automatically.

Storage, legal basis and recipients

The data is used for contact, review and the requested comparison, not for public publication or general marketing. The forms ask for your consent to store the data and contact you about the request.

Authorised personnel at Norra Park AB and necessary providers of storage and email may process the data. Data is not to be kept longer than the purpose requires. Deletion is handled manually; data is not deleted automatically. Contact us if you would like to request deletion or receive information about recipients and how the data is handled.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may, where the conditions are met, request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). Contact info@asiasourcing.se to exercise your rights. Requests are handled manually.
